INTAKE SESSION

Our first session together is focused on getting to know one other and mapping out what you would like to accomplish by pursuing therapy. My job is to give you an idea of what to expect from the therapeutic process and establish a plan for you to attain your therapeutic goals.

CLINICAL SESSIONS

Depending on your specific therapuetic goals, we may do six to eight sessions together. Benefits of psychotherapy may include a better understanding of your emotions, behaviours, life experiences, goals and values. Greater self-clarity may lead to personal growth, enhanced relationships and better stress management. Processing the strong and potentially unexpected emotions that come up in session is typical and part of working toward your therapeutic goals.
